Streamlabs obs mic picking up desktop audio

I've been streaming Clone Hero the new Guitar Hero and I have specifically been using Window Capture on top of my webcam so I could cut in bits and pieces of the game and fit them however I like. I realize Window Capture is not intended for full-screen games, which is why I have Clone Hero running as windowed and I have added this little piece of text to the "Target" in Properties - -popupwindow -screen-width -screen-height Three days ago I encountered a problem: when I want to open Clone Hero through Window Capture, it will freeze after showing the first frame.

The first frame could be the option display that opens up before the game itself launches. I do have the possibility of just broadcasting the game through a Game Capture or Display Capture - but my overlay will not get nearly as smooth and good-looking then.

Through online helpers I have encountered several of them speaking about utilizing integrated graphics instead of the main gpu - unfortunately I cannot find that option anywhere on my PC. There might be something there, but I'm unsure. Trivia: - I have tried deleting all sources and scenes and starting over.

Last edited: Dec 18, If anyone should see this - the issue has been resolved! The creator of the game has sent out the information that to get Clone Hero to work with Window Capture, we could try to add the following text in the shortcut's properties target: -force-d3d9 At this point we do not know exactly why this happens to fix the problem - but it does!

Should you happen to encounter the issue in any other application, I encourage you to try adding that text " -force-d3d9 " without quotation marks. SumDim Member. I'd like to capture and post video game longplays on Youtube. After I had some difficulties to get OBS working on my Lenovo Laptop because of the black screen issue due do nvidia graphic settings, I solved the problem thanks to a lot of help from this forum as well as other sources on the web. Unfortunately, even though the video capturing works right now, it doesn't really work when capturing a video game. OBS just captures a small window on the upper left side instead of a fullscreen.

The window shows the full screen of the video game but it's very small and not in the center of the file. When I capture my desktop, it just works fine. I tried to upload a video here, but its size is too big to be uploaded here. Does anyone have some tips for me how to solve this problem? It doesn't matter if its a game which runs on Dosbox, steam, or via a separate installation. I really appreciate your help.

Thanks a lot. Because I can't upload a video itself I upload a screenshot instead which shows what I mean with "small window instead of fullscreen". Hopefully someone has an idea what to do about it? Small Screen Problem. Bugfragged New Member. Do these values match your game's resolution? If not, try setting the base canvas resolution to match your game's resolution. The output scaled resolution should be set to match the game's resolution too, or at least have the same aspect ratio.

If that doesn't work, there are programs like Avidemux that can crop out the black part and leave only the small window. Hi Bugfragged, thx a lot.

It helped and now it works of course I had to change some settings in the config file of Dosbox specifically for Eye of the Beholder 1 but now I know why this problem occurs and how to fix it. I hope this helps Sbory View Profile View Posts. Just run OBS and game as administrator, and your problem will solved quickly. Last edited by Sbory ; 8 May, pm.

View Profile View Posts. Running both in administrator no matter the order i open them did not work for me. My Symptom specifically: Display Capture element captures everything up until the point i select the game window My Solution: I added a Window Capture element, loaded the game, then found "Resident Evil 2 Remake" under the properties of the WIndow Capture and it worked like a charm.

I was already running both slobs and steam as admin and did no further testing outside of admin mode as im ready to play this friggin demo. A tip: getting clear audio is more important, at least initially, than having great video. If everything works, great! Next, check your internet speed. A capture card is a cool device that duplicates the audio and video coming out of your consoles and sends it to your computer as a video input, which your streaming software can then recognize and stream.

Obs still can not capture the actual game after obs and league are both running with nvidia. It only happens when I playing league rather than other games.

Ah, no your issue there is something else. The LoL lobby client cannot be game captured, it's not actually a game, it's a browser window. Try these steps: To best capture League of Legends, create two scenes.

In the second scene, add a Game Capture of the game itself you may need to be in a game to add this for the first time. Then configure the Scene Switcher to automatically swap between them. I used window capture for lol launcher, which is fine. But game capture just can't capture the game itself. Problem solved.

How to Fix the OBS Capture Window Black Issue

Osiris said:. Except it does properly address your problem. Your logs clearly show obs running on the nvidia gpu and not the intel. So you've tried window capture in order to capture what exactly? You should be using game capture for those. How do i run obs on the nvidia gpu and how do i run the game on nvidia gpu and where do i turn off the multi adapter compatibility.

Greetings, I am encountering problems with the Window Capture functionality: the captured window of an application is not displayed properly. For example, MS Excel window is shown as white, without bars, texts or Explorer browser is also captured as white windows, without showing its content properly.

Or in another application, blender, there was no display of objects in captured window. Partial remedy is the screen capture which is showing the whole scree honestly. Can OBS somehow manipulate display settings of captured window? Any help, please? Well, the same problem with Google Hangout I played with OBS settings video, output and could not get properly displayed captured windows Maybe this is an issue related to computer's graphics card?

Sapiens Forum Moderator. For Office apps you'll probably need to use display capture. For Chrome you'll probably need to disable hardware acceleration.

Hi again, I am opening this thread hoping to solve issue with unproper window capture on my HP notebook with Radeon HD graphics card. OBS with default settings is not properly displaying capured windows - blender, avogadro - these are graphics intensive applications. I am checking web for possible solutions.

Hi, just wish to add that these are two threads here, each for own computer - the first one is for Desktop Windows 10 with nvidia, the second one is HP notebook Win 7 with Radeon graphics card. In both cases I am getting similar problems with window capture of OBS. Hoping to solve both issues here Well, in both cases I don't have window capture screen completely white or black.

Some parts of the application are showing there But the issue is most likely occurring due to the GPU that OBS runs on; that thread explains the problem and possible workarounds. The OBS window capture for blender is black screen for avogadro. What can I do in this case?
